Elm Class News

Star of the Week

This week's star is .... Jess! Jess has been reading at home daily with her family and keeping a log of her reading. I'm looking forward to seeing your quiz...keep it up Jess!

Spelling Shed - Bee of the Week!

Elm Class are officially the best spelling bees - we are at the top of the classes leader board. Year 4 are closing the gap, so keep practicing everyone! A special mention to Maisie, Belle, Isaac, Lewis R and Aya, who have all scored over 3000 points! Hot on their heels are Lewis B, George, Summer and Phoebe!

Rock Star of the Week!  Well done to Maisie who has practiced this week and increased the speed at which she is answering questions. Kye, Issac and Aya are also increasing their speed. As a class we're finding our 6s, 7s, 8s and 9s the trickiest - don't give up Elm! Keep up the practice!

Accelerated Reader

Well done to everyone who has quizzed this week! Lots of people scored 100% in their quiz. Most people are scoring around 75% - lets set ourselves a challenge! I wonder if everyone can get 100% in their next quiz?! I'll update you on our progress next week!

Hi miss dyer!!! I am kinda behind on the work as I have got 11+ homework aswell and my mum makes me read every morning but I still get it done eventually. I get a break after most lessons if my mum is in a good mood but at least 3 times a week we don't end up arguing. I didn't like nevermoor so I stopped reading it. I wanted a kindle so I paid half and my dad payed half. That was all of my savings! When I got on my kindle I found an audio book for Anne of green gable, I watched that on Netflix so I thought it would be good to see the difference. …
