At the heart of the Bridgetown community

As well as educating our pupils, we also have a clear social vision which is to open up and create access to the amazing green space that is situated within the grounds of Totnes St Johns Primary School.
A provision for use by local organisations and a valuable resource for local people. A space for engaging with nature, meeting others and enabling activity outdoors, a space for relaxation and contemplation. Growing fresh food to enjoy and reigniting a connection with where our food comes from.
A place to grow, cook and eat together, share food and produce grown. A safe and welcoming space that instils a sense of community ownership and community pride for the people who live in the surrounding area – a place where people want to be. Such partnerships with our community enrich academic learning, nurture relationships, and create a positive neighbourhood environment.
