Ella Jolly

My name is Ella Jolly and this is my second year as a qualified teacher, I am so excited to continue my career here at TSJ! I feel very passionate about teaching and helping to develop the minds of children! It is essential that children are encouraged to be the best version of themselves and that they feel safe and supported within their classroom, with this being my main priority when the children enter our class. My favourite part of teaching is of course the children and the idea that you never have the same day twice! 

 

I have very high expectations that the children within my class never give up and always strive for the very best. This is something that reflects within my teaching as I always want to ensure excellence within my own teaching to provide the best learning experiences for the children. Within my practice, I want to demonstrate a true passion for learning and stress the importance that education doesn’t end when we leave the school doors. We can learn new things anywhere! 

 

As my name ‘Miss Jolly’ suggests, I like to think of myself as a very positive and outgoing person who is always willing to give things a go! Two passions of mine include cooking and travelling, the latter of which I have been lucky enough to travel parts of Asia, Europe, Africa and even working in America! I have always been an extremely sporty individual and love being active in any way that I can. I also love science and I really want to help the children develop a passion for the subject!
