Dear Parents,
We have been following government advice closely around the COVID-19 situation. As a result of this, an increasing number of staff have been required to self-isolate as a precautionary measure. This means that we are now at the stage where it is not safe to keep the whole school open as the level of staffing would not be secure. We now have to partially close the school. As from tomorrow morning (Wednesday 18th March) we will close Key Stage 1 (Walnut and Oak Class- Reception to Year 2). This is a decision we have not taken lightly, however, we need to respond to the developing situation to ensure safety across the school.
We will still be providing take away school meals for our EYFS and KS1 children, so please let us know if you would like to come in to collect these from the school tomorrow.
