Chromebook Appeal

With an end to the current lockdown uncertain, and with an uncertain future around Home Education and what return to 'normal school life' may look like, Totnes St John's school is seeking urgent funds to purchase Chromebooks for disadvantaged families and those with limited access to technology. ​ A significant number of the school's families need sufficient technology to be able to access home learning. Without this the risk is that children, many of whom are from less advantaged backgrounds, will fall rapidly behind in their learning. ​ With so much uncertainty, the most powerful and effective thing we can do is swiftly fund Chromebooks to enable our children to work successfully from home, keeping up with their peers across the area who may have access to more technology.
